The enhanced grower hierarchy improves crop visibility in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower Management
and the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower Pricing and Payments systems. Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower Management system enables you to create, maintain, plan, and analyze grower information to identify and repeat successful harvests. Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower Pricing and Payments system enables you to create and maintain contracts with growers, monitor the compliance of terms and conditions of the contract, and pay growers for their products in accordance with the contract terms.Visually review the hierarchical structure between a farm, block, harvest, and crop (item).
Enhanced grower hierarchy enables you to:
- Dynamically attach the crop to a block or a harvest.
- Historically track all the crops that have been grown on a block.
- Improve usability by locating block and harvest records by the crop.
- Reduce administration by generating reports based on the crop.
To take advantage of the enhanced grower hierarchy functionality, existing 9.0 customers must run a conversion program to populate the new Harvest Item Master table. More information can be found on the ESU special instructions.
